Types of Heat Resistant Cables
SIHF
SIHF cable has a characteristic red color, only covered with a PVC layer, has 2-24 cores with a cross-sectional area of up to 25 mm2.
SIHF / GL / P
For SIHF / GL / P cables, it is similar to SIHF, only this cable has an additional layer of fibers, has 2-24 cores with a cross-sectional area of up to 25 mm2.
SIAF (NYVIN)
The SIAF cable has an acrylic layer so that it is white in color, only has 1 core, with a cross-sectional area of up to 300 mm2.
Another example of heat-resistant cable is the type which is insulated with a rubber sheath and is suitable for areas where wide variations in temperature can be seen. It works like any other cable well under severe fire conditions due to the fact that it is halogen free and quite low in smoke, flexible and durable and resistant to many chemicals and adverse chemical conditions. Apart from having excellent mechanical and physical properties, it also has excellent electrical characteristics, outstanding resistance to oil, weather and ultra-violent radiation and has the high elasticity and tensile strength of the insulating materials used.
